Queen Anne is one of many pieces in the M Collection.
In the M Collection, my semi abstracted paintings were created to be a testimony of the power and beauty of anatomy and it’s variations in presentation. Asymmetry is favored with the intention to normalize dissimilarity and engage in those perfections with appreciation.
This particular image is in reference to Queen Anne, the holy mother of the blessed virgin Mary, grandmother to Jesus Christ. Her birth is recorded to have also been a result of divine intervention as she was too old to bear children. In this piece, I aim to honor her contribution to the world as well as her daughter's.
